This is one of my newest paintings.

The under painting was solid black and white to bring out the colors and shadows.

As I work with each painting I find this is the best way to achieve the style of paintings I want to do. This painting is also a gift for my friends birthday. The inspiration was truly the art of the dance.

Luannes Birthday Painting

Luanne's Birthday was today !

So I decided to give her this piece. It is so much apart the scenery of it of where I grew up in Livermore ,Ca. I gave it to her last Friday and she loved it !:D

This made me happy to share this with her for her special day.

Getting my painting done !

When life is in full gear sometimes it is hard as an artist to juggle life , creativity , and getting my painting done . I remember this is my passion and what I was set out to do . Lately I've really putting my painting last .When I have that moment when I can paint I do . I will be very glad when Summer comes our scedule will lighten up and I can concentrate more . I'm a homeschooling mom who is so grateful to be able to be an artist also !
