This group of lighthouses I'm working on are different beaches from different parts of the world . I always love the different colors of the sunsets that these lighthouse scenes are in . Gosh the one I'm painting right now is a beautiful purple color sunset. Sunsets are never the same and there are so many different colors that appear in them . That is the great thing about it . As artist we are so lucky to be able to have that choice !

Working on a new peice !

I love to do my paintings in groups of two's . Right now it is lighthouses by the sea with sailboats . This is enjoyable to me as there are so many in the world . Some of my greatest memories are as a child going to the beach with my mom and dad ! My father lived in San Francisco for a while before he met my mom . We'd go there as a family to the beach a lot . We would rent bikes and stroll through Golden Gate Park ! I truly miss it !

Finished both paintings !

I'm very happy to have these paintings finished . The wine vineyard was a little bit of a challenge . I had fun with the lighthouse painting . I enjoy painting on a smaller canvas .Lately , I seem to like to paint the sunset scenes lately . I've always liked working with black and white more . When you add any colors to black they just pop .

Just about finished with my painting ! I was very upset with the news of what was going on with my eyesight. If I never painted again for me it would be like loosing myself and I cannot do that !I love to see all the new artists and their paintings it inspires me as an artist ! My husband showed me a video of a man who has been blind and he was brilliant because , he paints and draws and his work is beautiful ! All art comes from within with all its passion !
